Been on this one for a month.. gaming, show watching and all, it's so bright my eyes hurt, colors are vivid and then there's 144 VRR - so reviewing this and calling shit are probably dumb asses who expect the quality of a G5 in this scope.. we have become sheep to reviewers and influencers-what happened to the old 'I'll decide for myself if I like it or not - the TV is badass, bottom line.

Yes, I bought this in December, and the TV no longer powers on. It is known to have power board issues. I wouldn't recommend this TV, even though the picture is fantastic.

For what its worth, I bought the S90F, but a 55 inch model, about six months ago. Same panel as the 77 inch, I believe, the QD-OLED (not the W-OLED). I've already got an LG OLED and I much prefer the Samsung.

I have the g5 and an s90c and had the s95b. Surprisingly the s90c keeps up despite it being ancient comparatively. The s90 has better colors and the picture quality in high end gaming looks incredible. That being said I've seen the g5 selling for only five hundred more than the s90f so if you have that 500 go for the g5. Otherwise you can't go wrong with the s90.

Also you can chat with CS and get 2 years Samsung Care+ or the wall mount service for free... i got both of these multiple times before placing the order.

I know the S90D has a power supply issue but didn't think it affected the newer model as well.

That's only the 2024 S90D. That dumb @$$ 77 in dies on me after 90 days and Best Buy allowed me to purchase the 2025 S90F

Just Google Samsung s90f + "power supply issue" before you buy this tv. The pricing maybe tempting but I would stick with LG for OLED tvs. Personally I think Samsung is good for mini led (Neo QLED)

The D has the power board issue. The F version supposed to fixed that problem.

Same, I bought the S90C 2 years back for $1490 and it's been an outstanding set. Yes it does not have Dolby Vision but has HDR10+, paired with the apple TV it's been flawless. Paired with the Samsung Q990C sound system (when it was on sale for $690) and been a great decision.
