We have this and it's lasted well enough. There's a protective plastic on the outside and it's applied before they assemble, so it'll take some work to remove (kids enjoyed that).

The wheels are fine enough. The 3 year old rides it around the house.

Don't recall how much we paid.

While it sounds great, it just makes it that much harder to corral them when they're rampaging away on wheels.

I'd certainly agree that any checked bag or carry-on which isn't closer to the typical checked bag or carry-on size limit and whose primary design feature is toting kids around an airport is mostly a toy for overnight stays, car trips, and bored weekends. LMAO

This design/concept works if the bag is universally allowed without fees.
