I suppose there's a very specific use case for an out of the way corner of your counter where you keep your coffee maker, blender, toaster etc.

It's a waste of plastic for the corner first of all second it only has a 4 foot cord and most corners in a home don't have an outlet within 4 feet. Like other slickdealers here I'm interested to get an update from the buyer who's been waiting for this design. The corner countertop option is indeed what the manufacturer pictured with the device... but then they paired the strip with a traditional plug which voids some of the space-saving claims(!). A bit strange but maybe useful in specific applications such as in an RV with limited space. Definitely needs a longer cord and more space between outlets.

I believe everything downstream of a gfi outlet is protected by gfi. If you plug this into a gfi it is gfi protected by the outlet.

How funny. I went to Home Depot last week to get a few power strips and saw this exact same model and wondered the same thing as everyone else is asking.

Same price as Home Depot. This isnt a "deal" price. Amazon is showing $18.74 for me.
