Though they look close to Knipex, they are nothing close. Read the reviews, especially the most recent. When doing anything serious or something that needs considerable torque, the teeth will break! At the current price point I was going to jump on them as a back-up. I'm glad I read the reviews first! Cheers! Peace

Harbor Freight's Doyle brand are 35% off this weekend (and all week for ITC members). Project Farm tested several brands of these pliers. While Knipex came out on top, Doyle's came in 2nd for most tests. Excellent choice for DIYers.

Thanks for heads-up on quality. Just purchased 8" from Direct Tools (Ryobi), haven't stressed them yet, but the feel is good and spring reaction is good. Reduced in price, on-and-off.
