I own the premium version of this watch (only difference iirc is premium has sapphire glass). Great for the price. Stylish, bright screen, easy to use interface, everything works pretty well (except sleep tracking, which I don't use but I hear isn't very accurate). I get about 4 days battery life with always on display activated.

  • Blade storage: drop down 1 blade storage.
  • Quick blade change: press the button to change the blade.
Those are some awesome features for a smart watch. My amazfit doesn't do any of those things. Still like it better than my much more expensive Samsung watch.

I also have the premium watch and love it. Battery life is great and the sleep monitoring is very insightful. The exercise tracking is great. You can also load a small amount of music and pair BT headsets if you wanna run without your phone. Best value for a good smart watch and is still supported with periodic updates.

The premium watch also comes with both silicone and leather watch bands. The base version has only the silicone band.

Premium has stainless case vs. polished aluminum (in addition to using sapphire glass). I don't think all premiums come with both silicone and leather, though that is the configuration on Amazon. Premium version is much better.

I've had this about a year, best smartwatch I have used and lasts so long on a charge. I'm pretty rough and haven't really scratched it too bad at all so I wouldn't shy away from the non premium one

basically as DC Rainmaker has pointed out in reviews

they promise amazing features that never work right

save your money for another brand

refurb Garmin 165 should be down near $100 this summer as they push out newer and newer models

Lol, I don't see anything that DC Rainmaker said about "saving your money for another brand". The UI may need some polish, but it's a fantastic deal at $80.

What specific features does he not like? This watch works great for me for tracking my workouts (GPS route, distance, time, elevation gain). It may not be 100% as accurate as a Garmin watch that costs 5 times as much, but it is fine for amateur workouts. Garmin does not have any products with GPS tracking for anywhere near this price. When I first bought it (a year ago), I was surprised at how well it worked for the price. I am happy with the performance and reliability and battery life. I am a former Garmin user who has given up on their products because of skyrocketing prices and poor durability.

For the price this looks like a good deal, but most people say the Xiaomi Band 10 is the best budget deal for a fitness tracker period.
