256GB is barely enough for the OS plus an OS update, nobody should buy this from Apple, let them eat the cost for putting out computers with minuscule storage.

I got the M5 for $1150, debating returning and getting this. Bigger drive on the M5 though. Decisions

Where'd you get the m5 from? $250 more or about 20 ish percent for more storage and 15-30% better performance seems worth it to me

Keep what you've got. If this was $800 then yeah but 256gb storage is very limiting. For my case I rather have more storage than RAM. I was able to snag an open box last night Air M5 16/512 for $916 at Best Buy.

It is a ludicrously small amount storage for a device selling for $899.97 on a "deal". Great device and deal except for that.

Whoops misread the comment above. 13 inch vs this 15 inch so they're in different classes. That said the 13" M5 512GB is great deal but this 15 at 256GB is a good clearance value and echoing what others are saying that the 256GB fills up quicker than you think
