256GB is barely enough for the OS plus an OS update, nobody should buy this from Apple, let them eat the cost for putting out computers with minuscule storage.

While I agree that 256GB is pretty small, let's stop with the exaggerations. The macOS takes up no more than 30GB (I think it takes 23GB) and the largest OS upgrade is probably 35GB. That's basically a 1/4 of the drive space. Not "barely enough".

got the 13 for 800 back in december, would have been tempted by this at the time

funny thing is i saw the 15 at costco the other day and felt the 13 was a better fit for meh.

great laptop, my first mac and a hell of a deal
