Or a 5090. Best efficiency is usually running around half capacity if I remember right. I bought the 1000 Watt version of this PSU and it was DOA so I had to send it back. Probably not going to risk it again.

You are correct. You get the best efficiency from your PSU running it around 50% of it's rated capacity.

It happens. I had a EVGA 650w go bad on me and they ended up upgrading me to a 750W. I miss EVGA
