Downvotes on this may be wrong. 5Ah HO is the best battery in the lineup, and easily valued at $50-60. The saw is small and portable, and brushless is more than capable if you understand the limits of a smaller blade. I have this and love it. For super-heavy jobs, sure, I'm breaking out a larger saw, but this cuts and cuts and cuts and fits into tool bags all day long. I can't completely comment on whether it's "slick" bc I bought the tool only, but I paid $120 and have never regretted it.

EDIT: $104 a week ago with a hack, so the battery is $75. That's kind of high, so maybe better to hold out for a better sale or a hack.

Great for cutting up 2x material for DIY projects. Light weight for repeated use.

I am hoping this is the new version, the old version wasn't as good. Love the new version though, powerful for the size, only break out the 7 1/4 Fuel M18 for thicker cuts. The smaller size and weight really makes a huge difference with a lot of cuts, the 7 1/4 feels like an anchor in comparison.

The price is just so so, but if you figure the 5.0 is about $60, then 120 for this saw is fair, just not slick.
