The volume gets pretty loud. But they're pretty quiet, my partner cuddles w me nightly and didn't know they had headphones for over a month until i said something.

Any idea how well this blocks out airplane noise compared to anc buds (like AirPod Pros)? Also, does this have eye cups/eye relief?

Uh, unless you turn the volume up high enough to damage your hearing, you will hear external noises too. I have a similar one, and can still clearly hear my wife's loud snoring and her fan that she says she can't sleep without.

They do get loud too. I tend to have it one click above muted and slightly off of my ear. My current one is the 2nd one I've had. And I'll need a 3rd pretty soon as it is currently falling apart somehow. My first is still totally fine, even the battery after all of these years, but the speakers are bigger and it hurts more laying on it. My current one needs to be charged about once a week, my first needed a charge every few days even when it was new. I imagine this would have a similar battery life as my current.
