I received mine (1 tub order) earlier this week. On the bottom mfg 02/2025. It was sealed on top. Smells fine, smells like more of a milk chocolate than chocolate. No obvious clumps in the tub. With a vegetarian lifter in the house we go through maybe a 100lbs or more of protein powders a year, so we have tried several brands. I don't have a gourmet palette but frankly nothing in taste or texture seems any different about this chocolate than other chocolates. To me none of them taste like real chocolate, I'm in it for the protein not the taste. I don't have a strong opinion about the date issue because we order so much bulk I have sometimes found a forgotten tub of protein left in the back of a closet for a few years and had no problems. Frankly protein has gotten so expensive lately that if companies want to liquidate older stock at deep discounts I'm happy to buy it.
My order has a 02/2025 mfg date. Protein powder looks how it should, and date does not bother me. I'll be gladly using this, but would be hesitant about repeat purchase unless they are lab certified.
Mine had a 2/25 date, just received. Given what I read online, seems 2-3 years, unopened, is a reasonable shelf life. I am guessing mine will be fine, but need to run through my current supply first.
It's 1 to 2 years, not 2 to 3 years (unless it's heavily loaded with preservatives).
I bought two 4LBs tubs, delivered relatively at the same time despite ordering days apart.
02/25 manufacturing date. Good value, blends well, but my good does it taste soo fake. The most egregious use of sucrolose I've ever tasted. Nothing like chocolate.
I complained earlier about the 2024 manufactured date, but I've tried many more expensive protein shakes and powders that taste similar, worse, or not at all as advertised. I've also already gone a week doing two shakes a day, and I've experienced no stomach or gut issues. I kind of want to buy more especially if they're making new batches.
Well, in for one. At less than $6/lb, even if it tastes a little funny, probably worth it. As long as I don't get sick. Which I doubt I will. Probably just need to consume it pretty quick after opening.

The issue isn't getting ill. Protein compounds break down over time, so you are not getting as much protein from old products.
