Exactly. Most of us who buy this are taking it not for taste but strength training; 2 year old product (mfr dates are only imprinted last step so its actually older than that) does not seem efficacious. The high amount of cholesterol and sucralose is also bad sign.

Was getting ready to debate you on this, but looked it up myself.

I was thinking it degradation of protein meant degradation into the constituent amino acids, which would probably not be a big issue in my opinion. Since your body would digest the protein into amino acids anyways. But it turns out some of the constituent amino acids may actually degrade and no longer be a structural amino acid.

That being said, the studies don't mention any real world significance. So unclear to what extent it does matter.

I doubt you have a source for this claim (1 year before protein powder degrades??) and there's no way preservatives would preserve it since it's not in solution, it's dry.

Dry milk could be nutritious for years, in theory, as long as it doesn't go rancid. The protein in milk probably lasts as long as it's kept dry.

When did you buy? Mine supposedly shipped on 4/23. I received an email on 4/28 from the company saying "How are you liking it" that I should have received it. Just sent them a message since mine doesn't show any tracking data change since arriving at West Fargo, ND on 4/24.

Edit: And of course, the day after I message them my USPS tracking number finally updates and says it'll deliver today.
