The more important dimension is the light piece of wood you see. That's the max size you can cut the piece of cheese into. So your cut-cheese will be about that size.

You won't get that perfect square slice for your burger because that bar parallel to the wire won't have enough clearance.

For the impulse buyers, a long while ago, maybe 15+ years back. I received a stone cheese cutting board similar to this, but smaller. It is 8"x5". I've used it probably 3 or 4 times in all of these years. I never really liked it. While I don't recall it being bad at cutting cheese, it was a pain to clean. I imagine a wood, or uh a bamboo version would be worse. I used to do more charcuterie stuff back then too, but ended up preferring a knife. But this does have positive reviews, so take it with a grain of salt.
