Good price on this filter but be aware that the "max flow" isn't as good as it is on the Aquasana AQ-6300M which has ~50% higher flow rate. I'm not a patient person so I bought the more expensive model at $200 and have been happy with it.

This is like an RO system without the most important part, the RO filter itself. You just get the pre and post filters.

The downsides to RO filters is the excessive water use and the complete removal of all minerals including the beneficial ones unless you also have a re-mineralization system. RO might be appropriate for some situations but these basic filters cover most situations just fine to remove most of the lead, pfsas, microplastics, etc.
