The hype for these will fade once people realize the crap that is the key card concept

Yeah. I'm usually anti keycard, but I'm making an exception this time. It's actually a good value. If these end up not working in 20 yrs then it is what it is.
Agreed. I don't like key cards, but it will be a while before all 3 of these go on sale (simultaneously) for an average of $30 each.

Anti key card as if there's such a thing as being pro key card?

While I am not the biggest fan of Game Key Cards, I was more ok with this release since it made each game cost $30 a piece, which is still less than what Capcom is asking for each title digitally on the eShop.
Same. I'm not a fan of game key cards but considering this is cheaper than straight digital, it's a good deal.

I'm just having trouble deciding whether it's worth the $100 with tax. I already have all the games on Steam and RE isn't exactly a game I'm likely to play on the go.

+1 prick move from Capcom...unless these games were over 64gb. I can see maybe re9 being over 64gb, unsure about 7 and 8

I've only really played a little of RE1 and RE4 so I was pretty surprised to learn how much of the beginning of RE7 is a guy stalking me. It's kind of stressing me out. I think I'm going to use easy mode when I play RE8 and 9.

The first time I played RE7 was when it was released as a VR version, and I played the whole game with my PS VR.

Yeah digital downloads are supposed to have the convenience of NOT having to swap cartridges.... I'm old school. I like physical.

This isn't a physical card in the traditional sense like the Switch 1 carts.

With this pack (and most 3rd party Switch 2 "physical" releases), the physical cartridge only stores the game license. You'd still need to download the games to internal storage of microSD Express.

I haven't tested on Switch 2, but on the first Switch (and 3DS), you can back up your SD card onto your computer. So if you really wanted to, you might be able to download the games and store them somewhere else as a backup in case the downloads ever get turned off.

Little of both, but the VR was definitely making me dizzy.
