Because GameStop are notorious for selling preowned games as new. Bought a few and they have clearly been used. I like my new games factory sealed, not with scratched up cases and artwork.

Because gs has a policy of displaying empty game cases (which they take from new games) and then selling the last copy as "new" despite being the floor model.
