I saw this deal on Amex, however it states that you have to use their link to make the purchase, which doesn't include the APRIL26 promo. Do these promos actually stack?

Usually it has those terms just to prevent people from using cashback sites. But in my experience it works anyway

Ideally there will be an active July coupon code, then you'd let your subscription expire 7/3, then re-subscribe using the coupon code and your AmEx on 7/4.

The link is just a redirect to an AllTrails Plus promo page on the regular AllTrails site. It's not a restricted landing page and doesn't carry any tracking parameters. You can still check out with coupon codes.

stacked for me, received statement credit 2 days after subscribing. ended up paying $9.00 total for the year!

Thanks.......clicked Amex coupon and then signed up for a year subscription.....already got a confirmation email from Amex that I qualified for their deal. I have used this app for several years and it is pretty good. Most of features I use do not require the subscription, but for $9, figured I would at least get the ad free benefit. With this Amex deal, I almost went for the Peak version....given the additional $50% off.......thought perhaps I might use the identify plant feature....but for now, I will settle for the Plus.
I had tried the Plus for 50% off for the subscription a couple years ago, but this is even better.

I've used a turbotax amex offer without using a link and it worked. So I don't think you need to use the link.

I didn't get an email from amex after the purchase though. I went thru a 9% cashback site and also used Paypal with my amex linked to it. So we'll see in a few days if I get the $9 amex offer cashback!

Don't forget to turn off auto renewal.

Edit: Just checked my email again and I DID get the amex offer confirmation email!

Yes......immediately "cancelled subscription"......which is always a bit ambiguous IMO. I wish they all just used the convention of calling it "auto-renew" that you were cancelling. But if you check after cancelling...you get a confirmation that says active until 4/2027.
