Going to guess you weren't wearing these shirts. Their Tech Golf Polos are legit. I have three of these in different colors and they are well made and have held up very well over time.

Itchiest shirts ever. I've tried these many times and always get suckered into their promotions.
These cheap shirts feel like a scrub daddy on your skin--miserable experience every time and always change shirts 20 seconds after re-trying.
Never again!

I've had plenty of these in about 10 different color (and about 2 sizes for each color (L and LX or Tall and XLTall) whenever they are on sale in the past 10 years (used to be average (when on sale several times/year) about $12 or so then gradually up to about $14-$15 then $18-$20 to catch up with the inflation.
The quality has been going down year after year. It used to last longer in previous years compare to last 1-3 years.
They are affordable. Used to last me several years but lately only last about a year or so. The threads and stitching about to get loose and come off (and starting making small holes) after washed several times as well as the more lints to build up, etc.
If you are OK to have them for about a year or so for about $15 then It's OK. But if you want it to last 2 years or longer then your millage might vary.

I like these top tech, golf polos, but I've had three of them get nasty poles from very simple, minor sharp things. Anything sharp or pointy will pull these. I really like the thinner older style of under Armour polo shirts over these. But those don't seem to be on sale as often.
