Reminder that the bespoke line has the redesigned ice maker which is much more reliable than the older trash ice makers.
People are still gunna say don't buy Samsung but wont be able to point to anything specifically wrong about this model other than "Muh Samsung bad"

From the 6 month mark, they first said it was the way I was using it. But then reading the comments online and opening up the unit, found the design flaw. The heat was not transferred efficiently from the defrost heaters to the drain causing ice build up which caused water to go under the deli drawer and build up. All that said, now 12 years have passed and I am hearing Bespoke line solves much of the issues, so I am willing to give this another try because the deal is so good.

Below is the research I had done and did some DIY but that also did not help
---------------------
*** from technical repair manual of 3rd party agency for samsung frig
Metal clips "A" and "C" can be placed on both the evaporator cover and the evaporator. The metal clips will touch and transfer heat more efficiently from the defrost heaters to the drain preventing ice build up. Due to the low current draw of this heater, the foil is critical for heat transfer.
Part numbers for these parts are as follows:
A: DA61-03502A PLATE-DRAIN INS EVAP, REF
C: DA61-03585A FIXER-EVAP REF

***Brian Dang's post: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwSSMF6Sj70
To solve the problem (3), I used a 6 inches long, 3mm diameter copper (or aluminum) wire, wrapped around the black heater pipe (just above the drain hole and running across left to right) 3 turns, and extended the wire down into the drain hole. If you don't have large gauge wire then just use two smaller gauge wires, wrap them on the left and right side of the heater pipe and extend the wires down into the drain hole about 1.5 to 2 inches. This should carry the heat from the back heat pipe down deep into the drain hole and helps to prevent ice building up inside the hole.
I used to fix the ice build up issue every year, but after implementing the 3 steps above, it has been running over 2 years and still no problem. My unit is RF266AB.

they fixed my icemaker but the problem of water and ice collecting beneath the deli drawer has still not gone away - that is another known problem with Samsung. I need to force pull the deli drawer and pull out the ice sheet every now and then. This is a design flaw based on reddit reports

I wish I was rich enough to afford Samsung appliances ... not because they are expensive ... but because they only last like 3 years and need to be replaced.

Currently own a piece of trash Samsung fridge. They ruined their reputation so much that I am never accepting another fridge made by them for free even.

My 2023 bespoke failed by 2026. Un-repairable Freon leak. Took probably 10 hours on phone and 2 tech visits over 3 weeks to get a refund for sealed system failure (which took another week to process)

Good price if you wanna take the risk but I am not biting again.

I wouldn't buy anything Samsung. Customer service is abysmal. Have been waiting for months for them to send me their "fix" for recalled range that catches fire if you bump a knob that turns it on

Got one with the auto open doors and beverage center from outside and it's been good so far 4 months in. I did get the 5yr warranty just to be safe though.

Thanks. Spoke with chat for free shipping. All I asked for was free shipping and they said there was no free shipping, and tried to guide me through my purchase, I just made it sound like I was disinterested but remained courteous. They gave me a unique code that took an additional $100 off, bringing the fridge to $1199.25. I was receiving military discount. Total with tax and shipping was $1312.21.

I have had two Bespoke refrigerators at two different properties since 2022. One of them is this exact model and the other is the 4 door without the middle drawer but the flex fridge/freezer combo in the bottom right-hand corner. Both had the beverage center and auto-fill pitcher. They have both worked very well without any issue and the auto-fill pitcher is a game changer especially for a coffee maker with built-in tank. That said, if you have kids and/or adult family members that don't listen you are going to to nuts cleaning these. You will start seeing scratches, hand prints, dents, etc. pretty quickly. People just don't want to use the embedded handles so they grab the stainless steel while opening and closing and it constantly shows. I'm probably on the spectrum on this stuff but it absolutely drives me bonkers that people don't care their rings and assorted jewelry are literally making a professional looking appliance downright crappy. The other complaint is the embedded handles are crumb magnets. It is amazing how much stuff they accumulate. You'll need to vacuum those and wipe them out regularly as well. Just sharing my on-the-spectrum two cents...

Samsung and fridge, no thanks. Would never buy one again. We have one "Twin cooling" on the back, needed to defrost the f'n things like 5 times before I found out a 3rd party made a add on heater to solve the issue.

It's been working fine now for a while but, because Samsung does not know how to design a fridge, it would be the last I would buy from them. Not sure how this could pass quality control, this was an issue for many years and still do not know if they fixed it.

Just poor design, never again....

What brand/model is recommended? I have heard negatives about every company so I am very confused. My whirlpool still works after 20+ years but has started showing age with frosting etc. But based on reviews, I am afraid to replace it till it totally fails

RF29BB8600QLAA vs RF70F29DERAA (one listed here) are these same? If not what is different, both models looks same.

AAA membership discount works thanks! For some reason it shows free shipping when adding to cart but it goes to $39.99 at checkout. Tried asking customer support but they won't budge or add any additional discounts. 3% cashback offers right now too so I guess that pays for the shipping then.

*Realized it doesn't come with the half panel door for easy access to the water dispenser or anything extra for that matter lol might shop around more

Excellent fridge. Everyone who visits makes a comment and assumes it is a high end item. Glass panels really make it pop. If glass is OOS you can get them of FB for cheap.
I had a 3 door white glass version for 3 years now and bought 2 more - one 4 door and one 3 door - for my rentals because I believe they will outlast other products on the market. No issues at all.

The water pitcher makes it easy to fill water bottles quick. You still have a regular press button if you prefer. Double ice is nice but nothing special. The 3 or 4 door is really just a preference. I would choose this 4 door model for the flex deli drawer.

Be mindful that doors open wide, you will need some space to the sides towards the front for doors to open.

You might be able to get a lower price per unit by adding more appliances. I got 0% financial, it came through Affirm.
Good luck, enjoy your new fridge
