Reminder that the bespoke line has the redesigned ice maker which is much more reliable than the older trash ice makers.
People are still gunna say don't buy Samsung but wont be able to point to anything specifically wrong about this model other than "Muh Samsung bad"

From the 6 month mark, they first said it was the way I was using it. But then reading the comments online and opening up the unit, found the design flaw. The heat was not transferred efficiently from the defrost heaters to the drain causing ice build up which caused water to go under the deli drawer and build up. All that said, now 12 years have passed and I am hearing Bespoke line solves much of the issues, so I am willing to give this another try because the deal is so good.

Below is the research I had done and did some DIY but that also did not help
---------------------
*** from technical repair manual of 3rd party agency for samsung frig
Metal clips "A" and "C" can be placed on both the evaporator cover and the evaporator. The metal clips will touch and transfer heat more efficiently from the defrost heaters to the drain preventing ice build up. Due to the low current draw of this heater, the foil is critical for heat transfer.
Part numbers for these parts are as follows:
A: DA61-03502A PLATE-DRAIN INS EVAP, REF
C: DA61-03585A FIXER-EVAP REF

***Brian Dang's post: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwSSMF6Sj70
To solve the problem (3), I used a 6 inches long, 3mm diameter copper (or aluminum) wire, wrapped around the black heater pipe (just above the drain hole and running across left to right) 3 turns, and extended the wire down into the drain hole. If you don't have large gauge wire then just use two smaller gauge wires, wrap them on the left and right side of the heater pipe and extend the wires down into the drain hole about 1.5 to 2 inches. This should carry the heat from the back heat pipe down deep into the drain hole and helps to prevent ice building up inside the hole.
I used to fix the ice build up issue every year, but after implementing the 3 steps above, it has been running over 2 years and still no problem. My unit is RF266AB.

they fixed my icemaker but the problem of water and ice collecting beneath the deli drawer has still not gone away - that is another known problem with Samsung. I need to force pull the deli drawer and pull out the ice sheet every now and then. This is a design flaw based on reddit reports

FYI, I was able to get the fridge price lowered to $993. In addition to the coupon code, reach out to the representative for additional $100 off (basically covers shipping and haul away fee + some change). I just kept the fridge in my cart contemplating on the purchase and I got a pop up saying add email to get $175 additional off your cart. It successfully stacked so I justified adding the 5 year care plus plan for $125 for ease of mind.
On the Samsung app or in the browser? That is insane deal.

What did you ask for when you chatted with the rep? I'm hoping for a popup, but I'm already logged into my account, so not sure they'll ask for my email.

Might as well buy a toilet... so you can flush your money down it instead.

Samsung refrigerators, no matter how "high end" they appear, are a pos. You've been warned.

people that bought this, do delivery people remove doors to fit through doorways? I have small openings but it looks like the fridge would fit without doors off.

They didn't see you already had the 2 other discounts in cart?
Or did you somehow convince them to ignore those and offer up an additional $100?

They didn't ask, the way they did it was to generate a new checkout link that had a one-time coupon code added, but when I clicked it, it opened up in a new tab. I noticed their code was replacing the "special promo" discount that was in my original cart, so I just tested to see if it would stack in my other tab and it did.

I said one of my friends bought the same fridge from them earlier this week and when he chatted with customer service they gave him a coupon that knocked the price down a bit more. That wasn't 100% true but I think I had read another comment say something about CS chat gave him an additional discount, so I tried it. They said since I was ready to make a purchase they would give me an additional discount.

gotcha. someone in the comments got an additional $175 dollar email offer by waiting with the item in the cart. Doesn't seem like it's easy to replicate.
