People are still gunna say don't buy Samsung but wont be able to point to anything specifically wrong about this model other than "Muh Samsung bad"

Below is the research I had done and did some DIY but that also did not help

*** from technical repair manual of 3rd party agency for samsung frig
Metal clips "A" and "C" can be placed on both the evaporator cover and the evaporator. The metal clips will touch and transfer heat more efficiently from the defrost heaters to the drain preventing ice build up. Due to the low current draw of this heater, the foil is critical for heat transfer.
Part numbers for these parts are as follows:
A: DA61-03502A PLATE-DRAIN INS EVAP, REF
C: DA61-03585A FIXER-EVAP REF

To solve the problem (3), I used a 6 inches long, 3mm diameter copper (or aluminum) wire, wrapped around the black heater pipe (just above the drain hole and running across left to right) 3 turns, and extended the wire down into the drain hole. If you don't have large gauge wire then just use two smaller gauge wires, wrap them on the left and right side of the heater pipe and extend the wires down into the drain hole about 1.5 to 2 inches. This should carry the heat from the back heat pipe down deep into the drain hole and helps to prevent ice building up inside the hole.
I used to fix the ice build up issue every year, but after implementing the 3 steps above, it has been running over 2 years and still no problem. My unit is RF266AB.
they fixed my icemaker but the problem of water and ice collecting beneath the deli drawer has still not gone away - that is another known problem with Samsung. I need to force pull the deli drawer and pull out the ice sheet every now and then. This is a design flaw based on reddit reports

Ahh...you were referring to an older model. I was reluctant to buy a Samsung fridge because of what I have read for years online and that I once owned a Samsung OTR microwave that had the control board go out as soon as the warranty ended. Researched and found that was pretty much the case with that model. Around the same time, I had a Samsung electric ceramic top range that also had the control board go out soon after the warranty expired. So I swore off Samsung appliances.
Then I got married. Wife really wanted the Samsung Bespoke fridge. I researched all the main brands and had concerns from all the brands these days. My hope is that the Bespoke models are more reliable.
I had to get the Samsung because if we bought anything else and it failed, my wife was going to blame me.
We've only had our model for 7 months so far, so I cannot report on reliability, but so far, so good.

also, then you are better off getting a lower priced refrigerator without the icemaker and water dispenser
