It's cheap because it only has a 10,000mah battery inside. Regarding the 5000a rating that's like advertised lumens on cheap flashlights. My cheap 4yrs old portable jumpstarter with a advertised 1,200a has worked on everything from Camrys to Ford Transits 250 and recently a f350 that was completly dead as in not a single light inside was turning on.
