y'all, gel gloves are for lifting weights. They feel good while riding the bike however if you fall for whatever reason and put your hands out to brace your fall, those gel pads will GRIP the concrete and break your wrist as it will prevent you from sliding which is what you want with bike gloves. Generally, leather, reinforced fabric, resin or plastic where the gel is will be better since it promotes sliding. You want the gloves to get eaten up by the concrete. You dont want gel to grip the concrete and snap your wrist or arm.

You want full gloves when biking not these fingerless homeless gloves otherwise you'll have blisters on your fingers from braking.

Got identical gloves a year ago from TEMU for $1.50. They serve their purpose, but made of very cheap materials and the foam padding has collapsed. The "gel" pad is still going strong tho, but is just a chunk of rubber.
