FYI it seems the Sam's is a "cheapened" version of the original but still a fantastic deal for this bag.
My wife just got the smaller version from REI. And it's a great travel bag. Very underrated and that brown is more greenish in real life.
I also recommend pack hacker they really have very good reviews.

I've had this bag for years and it's a workhorse travel bag. Great functionality and style, plus I can easily bring 2-3 days worth of clothes and necessities (as long as I don't need a 2nd pair of shoes). I've been using monthly for work flights, plus vacations. If you're a minimalist or single bag traveler, this is an awesome price. I paid around $120 and that was a good value. Slick deal on a strong product.

Agree that Pack Hacker is a great resource for bag and travel gear reviews. I hadn't heard about a cheapened version of this bag though, what all is different about it than the "standard" version at REI, Amazon, etc?

Tbh I am just basing myself on the photos and price discrepancy Smilie not uncommon for Costco / Sam's to have "light" versions of some items at a discount…at 90$ though I would buy this for sure….
