These are shuckable so thats a bonus. If you subtract the APC from the price youre looking at $15/tb (i think ideally you want $10-12/tb for shucked drives) which for this size is pretty good. Doubt youll be able to sell the battery backup for that much but not a bad thing to have on hand.

Um...........am I missing something? Not long ago I got a 12 or 14tb drive for like a hundred. This is 4tb and it's nearly $150? What's with the external battery? I've never seen this kind of combo before.

You are missing that it is a bundle with a UPS that retails for $85.
