I haven't tried it, but as a person who has a few packable backpacks and uses them often for many things, this one looks overly complex. I'd be concerned that they made compromises in build quality to accommodate the features while still letting it pack down. Also…20% off $15 doesn't seem particularly slick (though without knowing the product quality it's hard to call it overpriced).

What is your favorite packable backpack? I have the Matador ReFraction and really like it, although it is hard to wear over one shoulder sometimes..

Honestly I don't have any packable backpacks that I'm particularly excited about.

The ones I use most are a no-name product from a no-name website I got for $4/ea around 2019 (I think I found them on Slickdeals). I also have some REI packable bags that cost ~10x more. The only clear advantage of the REI bag is that it has a decent sized zippered top compartment, but even that isn't always an advantage.
