I have several versions of this and it's really good if you light candles or use a hemp wick, but for starting bonfires (unless your fire starter has a wick) or even lighting anything larger in diameter than about a Virginia slim you might want to go with a refillable butane. Again, these are amazing for hemp wick lighting (as a person who smokes a bit in the bathroom I've installed a secondary toilet paper holder to hold my hemp wick and these Arc lighters are great for using it 😂

Agreed, I actually wrap my arc lighters with hemp wick as a backup incase the arc doesn't do the thing.

Alternatively, you can soak paper towels in rubbing alcohol to make something that an arc lighter can start really easily.
