Check their factory defect website and they almost always have great deals and their quality is almost as new with minor scratch or without box. https://homeandcooksales.com/

That's a very good site to look for deals.. but it's currently not available there. And based on the only Copper Core listed there (5-Qt. Saute Pan w/Lid / Copper Core) it would likely be roughly 38% off MSRP... and that's not far off what this is discounted at.
This is 34% off, brand new, and unlike that website (where all sales are final) it's easily returnable to Amazon for any reason. Now, there is the very legitimate argument of whether Copper Core is worth the price bump over a d3 stainless (most would say no), but for those looking for this particular sauce pan it's a good deal.

CC is infinitely better for cooking heat distribution than any D3/D5/D7

Infinitely better? I don't have experience and I'm genuinely looking into it because I need new cookware but a lot of reviews say that its not that much different between the d3 3 ply and CC 5ply within the all clad brand. Maybe a cheaper brand d3 vs all class 5 ply there might be a big difference but I'm not finding that comparison anywhere really so I'd love to know your experience with the 5 ply so I can make a better informed decision

I have a set of D3 and I've used the copper cores. There is a noticeable difference in response time when changing temps.
With that said, is it worth the price difference? Probably not if you're on an infrared burner. If you're on induction and/or gas maybe.
If you're on slick deals, probably not.
On a 4 quart saucepan it's even less important. Definitely on frying pans or 1/1.5 qt saucepans.

Induction all the way baby! Would NEVER go back to gas, electric or infrared. Temp change on my D5 fry pan is nearly instantaneous

I've replaced every pot and pan in my kitchen for like a quarter of the price! Site kinda looks sketchy but it's legit.

I have this exact thing and it's fine. I would prefer it to have 2 helper handles (like a small soup pot, all-clad has it in their lineup) instead of 1 long handle and a helper handle. The pan is heavy enough to make it uncomfortable to hold using long handle and, because it has one, it occupies way more space in the fridge.
I would also recommend getting proper saucier for sauces, rounded transition between walls and bottom is more suitable for whisking.
