this model has 3 x LR44 replacement batteries (just buy another one instead)
Best to wait and buy the model with regular 2 x AAA replacement batteries when it is on sale
works great though

I have one of these and it eats batteries. I have had to replace them several times and don't leave them in the unheated garage because that makes them die even more quickly. I have some other gauges and they do not go through batteries like this thing.
