Newer model supposedly quieter than the standard Turbo fan. I ordered the older model yesterday for $8.40, but this might be useful in situations where a normal turbo fan is too noisy.

I ordered the older version as well. It is a bit too loud and high pitched. Hopefully this one is better.

Keep your eyes open, because I bought 2 by another company, Konsiden, for $5.99 and they were delivered yesterday.

Haven't received it yet. But this generation of turbo fans claims to be quieter than the previous generation. Perhaps you should only use it when everyone is singing.

Very loud but strong wind but it also didn't come with hanging straps.

I have had this for 2 weeks now. Good quality and slightly bigger. Dont buy the other one...whining irritating sound.

Is the speed of the motor at highest setting almost same or quite slow.

I have a similar size and quiter one from another brand but it's motor is not fast enough.

Correct, there is a code for the black one which apparently only works on the black one. But if you read the original instructions, there is a separate code (JPB3WXIL) which works on vanilla swirl and harbor blue. I got the harbor blue one so that I could easily identify it from my older turbo fans which are either black or white.
