This is the model I was eyeing and really wanted! Thank you for posting this! I had just ordered the older one because I didn't want to spend so much on a fan, but I haven't opened it yet. Will probably return the older model if this turns out to work as well as the reviews say they do.

Nice, that's the color I needed.

NYC midnight sounds fancy until you realize they just renamed black

I just received this one. The volume is slightly less than the older one and it doesn't have the whine. It's quite a bit larger as well. They both have neck straps.

Very nice. No whine. Quiet enough during speed 100. Speed can be adjusted to any integer between 1-100 and when single click the + or - it changes the value by 20 which is a very thoughtful nice design touch. Hold to rapidly increment by single digits. Keeps memory of last speed setting after turning off and back on.
