I bought this on an extreme YMMV for $200 about a year ago. Didnt need it but couldnt pass it up. It's awesome though

I own 3 mitre saws and this is the one I use the most because 1) it is well made and sufficiently precise to do most jobs 2) Just portable enough to move it whereever it is needed and heavy enough to be stable. I also have a 12" Dewalt that is more capable, but it is a pain to move and set up, so I only use it for special situations where extreme precision or for thick pieces.

I have the 7.5" dual bevel version of this, and also a older, 12" DeWalt saw. My uncle gave me a Ridgid miter saw cart/stand thing, that's been great as the 12" might weight 80lbs or something.
I've had the same experience where 4 out of 5 times I'll use the little portable guy out of convenience.

I have had this for a couple years. While being cordless is convenient, it's not precise enough for stuff like crown molding. The positive stops are off by 1 degree or so, and slightly off in opposing directions (so you can't just adjust the marker by 1 degree). All in all, for rough cuts, it's okay and a good enough saw. But expect annoyances if you want the perfect miter / bevel cuts.
