Based on the latest CPI number, the next semi-annual rate will be about 3.33%. The current fixed rate component is 0.90%.

Which means that if I buy I-Bond this month, I will get 6 months at 4.03% (current rate) and 4.25% for the 6 months after for an annual APR of ~4.15%. If I sell after 13 months + 2 days, it will have a APR of roughly 3.80%. Current 1 year Treasury is 3.62%.

What do you guys think? Worth it?

No imo. You can get 26 week t-bills at 3.73% (state tax free),14 month CDs at 4% (from Synchrony for ex), so why bother dealing with the 6 month ups and downs of I-bonds that you have to hold for a year+ and then take a 1 month interest penalty on??? There is either no advantage or very marginal.
