There doesn't seem to be any maximum discount (usually it's 35% off with a $20 maximum discount). I just bought a 40lb bag of Royal Canin medium adult dog food for $54.99 + tax (normal price $109.99). Chewy+ Rewards can still be applied for a further discount.

***You may need to sign in to see the discount. On incognito mode when not signed in, I'm just seeing $35%, max. $20 + eGift card for new customers***

Deal terms: Save 50% on your first Autoship
Select Autoship at Checkout. Limit 1 item per order and 1 order per customer. Ends July 20, 2026 5:59 AM ET, while supplies last. Terms apply.

In the past, I've found adding other products with different autoship deals to the order can mess up the discount.

Free 1-3 day delivery for orders over $49

Here are some other examples of products I've found with the same discount:

Purina Pro Plan. Multiple lines, sizes, and flavours of wet and dry dog and cat food. Lots of options.

Eg. Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Sensitive Stomach Lamb & Oat Meal Formula Dog Food, 24-lb bag $38.74 (originally $79.99)
https://www.chewy.com/purina-pro-.../dp/129811

Purina Pro Plan Complete Essentials Adult Shredded Blend Chicken & Rice High Protein Formula with Probiotics Dry Dog Food, 47-lb bag $48.24 (originally $99.99)

https://www.chewy.com/purina-pro-...dp/1187606

PPP also has a deal "Buy select Purina Pro Plan Dry food, get 25% off Wet with PP25DOG" but I'm not sure whether or not it stacks with this deal.
(PPP veterinary diets are 40% off, max. $25 off and supplements at 50% off, max. $20 off)

Royal Canin. Some lines of dry and frozen dog food in various sizes

Eg. Royal Canin Size Health Nutrition Medium Adult Dry Dog Food, 40-lb bag $54.99 (originally $109.99)
https://www.chewy.com/royal-canin...dp/1600046

Royal Canin Size Health Nutrition Medium Puppy Dry Dog Food, 30-lb bag $54.99 (originally $109.99)

Hill's Science Diet. It looks like most of the wet and dry food and treats (Hill's) for both dogs and cats are included.

Eg. Hill's Science Diet Adult Light Weight Management with Chicken Meal & Barley Dry Dog Food, 30-lb bag $43.49 (originally $92.99)
https://www.chewy.com/hills-scien.../dp/184545

Additional deal: "Buy select dry food, get 25% off select wet food with code TRYHILLSWET" (again, I'm not sure whether or not this stacks with this deal)

Hill's Prescription Diet lines look like they're $40% off with no maximum discount (also for first autoship).
Additional deal (not sure if it stacks): "Buy select Hill's Prescription Diet dry food, get 40% off select wet food with code HPD40CAT"

Eg. Hill's Prescription Diet k/d Kidney Care with Chicken Dry Cat Food, 8.5-lb bag $47.39 (originally $78.99)
https://www.chewy.com/hills-presc...y/dp/54761

Some Iams products are included but it looks like just some of the dry dog food lines.

Yeah I saw the discount until I signed it and it disappeared. I'm sure I've used a discount like this from chewy previously and it was probably close to 2 years ago, but that's enough for them to have flagged my account as not qualified for the discount it seems.

I'm seeing the deal on some of the non-prescription foods (I looked at science diet, pro plan, royal canin),
but not on the Prescription Royal Canin Dry Cat food Hydrolyzed + Renal - the 35% off for autoship applies, but it maxes out at $20.

Do you have any active auto ship subscriptions or have you cancelled one recently? I've noticed they don't work unless I haven't had an active subscription for a certain amount of time (maybe a month?)

It looks like Hill's is the only one with higher than usual discounts on the prescription lines

Haven't had an auto ship since the last time I bought PPP which was likely between 1 and 2 years ago
