For a small unit like this, I don't think price per Wh tells the whole story. A lot of people buying a 256Wh model are looking more at portability, LiFePO4 battery chemistry, usable output, and charging flexibility than just raw battery capacity.
On the charging side, the 165W hypercharge claim doesn't seem misleading to me, because UDPOWER does make it clear that this speed is achieved by using the DC input together with the 65W USB-C input. It's fair to say you don't like that setup, but I wouldn't say it's hidden.
As for the shared input for solar, car charging, and the adapter, I agree that it's a compromise. At the same time, on a compact power station, that feels more like a space-saving design decision than a major flaw. Most people shopping in this size range probably aren't trying to use multiple DC charging methods at once very often.
I also understand the complaint about the power brick. That's probably the part of your criticism I agree with most. But overall, I think "terrible design" is a bit too strong. To me, it looks more like a compact unit with some clear trade-offs that will work for some users and not for others.
