I had this mouse a few years ago. It went bad and started "double-clicking" fairly prematurely, I would say. You might get 1-2 years of use out of this.

Did you use this for office work or gaming?
I've been using this mouse for office work only for about the same timeframe and haven't had any issues yet

i've been using this mouse for at least 4 years, and it's been great, no issues at all. both for office work as well as gaming.
