He added helpful information that some people may find important. How is that a problem?

I prefer this because the kids don't have to wait to charge when the battery dies. I just swap out rechargeable AA batteries that I originally bought when I needed an endless supply of batteries for their baby toys. Plus, I've found that for products that we'll only use a few times a year, like during camping or outdoor activities, built in rechargeable batteries don't last when not used often and then you're forced to replace the whole product because the rechargeable batteries are not replaceable.I'd rather keep the product for years and just use rechargeable AA/AAA batteries.

No FRS radio can have a detachable antenna. If you want a detachable antenna, buy a GMRS radio, get a GMRS user's license, and still use the FRS/GMRS frequencies.
These are both FRS and GMRS. GMRS does not need a license if 2W or less. I'm not saying you're wrong, just a different take.

Have you lived under a rock for the past 15 years? Baofeng is well regarded for making good radios for the price.

Here's another option... https://a.co/d/03BFUvsI

This. Between Eneloops and ikea we have plenty of rechargeables for exactly this. Take em out when I'm done and charge them. Easy peasy

Baofeng is known for selling quality two way radios. Any person who has searched for 2 way radios should be familiar with this name.

My point being, SD does not allow sellers with that few ratings to even be listed in HD.

Why even bother with the worthless license or care about if the antenna is removable or not, the FCC isn't going to track you down to inspect if the antenna has threads or if your "family license" of up to 10 users are actually your real family members or not.
I have read they are cracking down on illegal use much more than they used to. Mostly because of abuse, and idiots who use illegal, overpowered equipment. But, as long as a person is not being abusive, or causing trouble for others, I don't believe they would be too concerned about you.

Related recommendation: check out the brand Cobra if you're interested in GMRS radios. It's a US company (made in Vietnam, not China).

Is there a meaningful difference between the T110 and the T114?

oh batteries are dirt cheap these days, and do you have a link to share of a set like this at this price point that IS rechargeable?

SOLUTIONS, not problems. If you haven't a solution to the problem then why post?
I found their comment helpful. I'm not about to buy more crap that will end up in the landfill because it chews through batteries.

Just don't buy from random sellers. Your link isn't sold by Baofeng. I think that's what the other member meant.

Seems like it's just color. But I could be wrong.

The Motorola TALKABOUT T110 and T114 are nearly identical FRS walkie-talkies within the T110 series, sharing 22 channels, a 16-mile range (mountain-to-valley), easy pairing, and no IP weather rating. The primary difference is aesthetic; the T110 typically features blue/white or green/white, while the T114 features white/blue. Both are ideal for simple, short-range communication.
