This is a tool that isn't used much, but when it's needed, you'll be glad you have it. I used it the other day when I dropped a screw in the engine compartment where it was too tight for my arm and hand to retrieve. I could see it just laying there like it was teasing me! 😂😂😂 Then I remembered the magnet wand in my toolbox. Voila!

I agree 100% ^^^ there are cheaper options but when they suck its always at the worst possible moment. Get a good one at SD discount and save yourself a future headache.

Sometimes it also helps for them to have a smaller head and NOT be so powerful. Good to have a few types

I've become a fan of using my inspection camera that has a magnet attachment. Its handy to track down and pick up stuff even if you dont have line of sight.
