Just bought another of these exact cat scratchers a week ago, yet to put it together. Bought 3 more to stock up and replace 2 others that are at the end of their lives. Returning the other one I paid full price for.

We end up putting it against a wall or the flat side of the couch, no issues, but he is a big boy, so pulling it down is not possible as he's on it when he does his business.

We extend its life by flipping the top piece when it's listing a lot of its cardboard.
