Thats an old model. It only charges at 200 watts AC with 1 input port. You can get 400 watts but you have to utilize 2 separate 200-watt input ports. Same goes with it's solar input so you cant use a single 400 watt panel, it has to be 2 200 watt panels. It also uses an old school style large power brick to charge via AC & to charge at 400 watts max, you'd need to buy a second one. It also only has 60 watt USB C ports vs 140 on this one. I'd stay away from that one. It's old stock. None of the newer models use a charging brick and charge so much faster with just a regular pc style ac cord. They moved away from using the power bricks.

One single reported incident of one unit catching on fire in who knows how many have been sold doesn't mean Oupes units LIKE to catch on fire.. Sounds more like a freak one-off incident. For what it's worth, the one that caught fire was their newest release the Guardian 6000. The LiFePo4 chemistry in general is pretty safe from catching on fire. If theres a real issue to worry about, I'm sure we'll see other units catching onfire, until then, It's probably safe to write this off as a freak 1 off incident. Who knows how many thousands of units they've probably sold in the 7 years they've been around.

I agree, and it wasn't even this model. Somebody was asking is this the model with issues? Then to answer that, he brought up a single one-off story about a completely different model catching on fire which didn't even answer the question and included the very misleading statement that Oupes likes to catch on fire.

anyone has idea on connecting the power station to their app? i tried many times on the exodus 1200 but won't work. i can tell on the BT that "TT" is the power station, but the app just keep searching

Not questioning the account in your link (the person from your link actually had a very detailed account and even linked to their own saferproducts.gov complaint) however every brand of power supply, phone charger, cell phone, EV, power strip, etc has multiple documented fires.

FWIW, I tried searching "OUPES fires" and this single event dominates the results. Can't find any other complaints. Not to mention, just because their account was detailed, doesn't mean the issue wasn't wiring related.

This looks a great deal based on price for 1488Wh. I didn't think I needed something like this until I had 2 power outages in last 2-3 months, one of which almost killed the fish in my aquarium.

I've had this for about a year. The fan is kinda noisy when kicking in. The handle is aweful, and it is difficult to put it back to the box after used. The app also sucks. Other than these, it is a pretty rock solid power station for the price.

Just got their Mega 1 model for $299 a couple of weeks ago. 1024 Wh, 2000 Watts. It's great.

Have this model that I grabbed via a Temu deal last year that effectively made it around $270 or something like that. It's alright, but definitely can't handle higher-powered 110V stuff without erroring out even if it's below the 1700W peak. Pretty sure one of those power tools I ended up using (in combination with trying to let it fully drain for the first cycle) ended up making my first one completely die. Yes...first one. I reached out to Oupes and was able to get a brand new replacement last month. Kinda took long going back and forth with communication and stuff. At least I got a brand new unit instead of another refurb like they usually would give since I told them my overall usage was low. The way it acts, there's no way I'd comfortably trust it to act as a UPS either for my server rack (not to talk of the slow 20ms failover anyway).

TL;DR: Definitely don't get this expecting to use tools that peak near or above the wattage thresholds because this batter will trip and error left and right.

Can't say I would recommend this brand. I've had 2 failed units in less than 1 month. Be sure to keep the original box, as they make you ship it back to them to swap out every time.

This model had big issue. If pulled over the limit, unit can go permanently dead.
