Just called my local store, they said not taking RSVP yet, waiting on kits to arrive to see how many spots they'll have. Recommended to call every couple of days

These things always only have a few kits and overwhelming attendance. Lines stretch around the block one hour before the event - for just a small 10-15 piece basic build. Mostly only the first 100 or so get a kit at most - including parents, their friends, and any other members joining the line at last second

BN uses reservations. That doesn't happen

Had success in making a reservation for the last one (last March) - called to reserve a spot, showed up. No problem. (of course, I'm in a smaller city, so that probably helps). I think it was a 100+ piece flower+flowerpot+hummingbird. While we were building, plenty of people came to join the waiting list. & the staff were pretty laid-back - we could have simply taken the kit home and assemble it there, if we desired.
