Is the Wax and Wayne series really just books 4-7 of the Mistborn series, or are they completely separate stories but in the same universe?

It's been a while but I read 1-6. 1-3 take place "in the past" (traditional fantasy for me) while 4+ are "modern fantasy". I don't know where each series takes place in the whole Cosmere universe timeline but I do know I loved 1-3 and I was not such a fan of 4+. But I like having all of the Cosmere books so I'm going to get what I'm missing here...

Thanks. I have the first 3 (Mistborn trilogy) and will consider these next 4 after I eventually read those and see if I like them.

I'm currently finishing up Book 3 of the Dar Tower series (Stephen King), so I have a ways to go before I'm freed up for another story 😂

I'm jealous of anyone getting to read this for the first time!

These are being sold without DRM, would it be difficult for me to buy them on Amazon and move them over to my Kobo?

Without DRM, it should be portable to other devices outside of the Amazon ethos.

I bought them. You can navigate to "My Digital Content" after purchase, find the book(s), click on "More actions", then "Download EPUB/PDF". For me, it downloaded as a PDF.
