This is the best deal I have seen on this item since it was released.

I have the original ninja creami and use it almost daily to make high protein/ low calorie ice cream.

If I didn't already have the original I would be picking this up immediately as this is a very good deal!

My favorite part about the CREAMI is how you have to prepare the ingredients inside the container, clean up, wait 24 hours for it to freeze, use the machine THEN IT'S READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So easy! So fast! So convenient! The best part for your troubles YOU have to pay THEM LOL! Quarts of Hagen Daz are always on sale for $3-4, you wont beat that for quality and ingredients. All other ice creams on shelves (or most) are full of gums, thickening agents, fillers, and carrageenan

Insanely stupid comments in this thread.

The Creami is the first commercial product of its kind since the Pacojet patent expired. It is marketed as an "ice cream maker" because there isn't any generic name for this Pacojet type of frozen-dessert milling/micro-pureeing product.

The initial Creami design performs roughly just as well as the Pacojet, it is a bit more convenient for a home setting, and at outrageously cheaper price than the Pacojet. The Swirl version is a significant improvement on the design that fixes many issues.

This is hardly a must-have product for anyone, but it's a great device if you understand what it is and it's really awesome that they brought a device like this to the consumer market.

Haagen-Dazs 14oz at my local Kroger's is on sale for $2.89/each... I rather buy 69 of them than this machine.

Same.

Probably good for people with specific dietary needs.

Ha! I wondered if that wouldn't be the case. I have an Cuisineart ice cream maker that seems easier to clean than this...and I still only use it maybe once or twice a year because for all the same reasons you said.

How easy is it to clean? Does it make soft serve?
Was going to get this but decided on the original because the container that you connect to the machine has a design flaw that doesn't allow you to fully disassemble the pieces, so they'll always be some liquid that doesn't dry completely after washing it.
My wife is a pastry chef and always wanted a PacoJet, I almost got her this one but I asked her if this water thing would be an issue and she said it absolutely would be and to get the original one instead.
