According to the Hazard Fraught price tracker, this long reach jack hasn't been this low since April 2025 and then it was 2021 before that. https://hfpricetracker.com/tools/64785

It's a good price and definitely a capable jack, I only caution against buying this jack if you need to regularly move it to where your car is as it is over 100 pounds. If you can store the jack close to where you usually use it, not a problem but, due to its weight, I will opt to choose my lighter aluminum jack over this one if I only need to lift a single corner.

Incorrect. It goes on sale every 2-3 weeks. see pix. Jan/26, Mar/2026 for example. Make sure your information is accurate before making such claims.

What are you talking about? The 3 ton long reach does not go on sale for $170 every 2-3 weeks. It's common for a daytona floor jack to be on sale, but the 3 ton long reach is the flagship jack. Last time it was on sale was February 2025 and it was $190. $170 is a killer deal for it. Which is exactly why its out of stock almost everywhere.

Edit: Just noticed OP wrote Pittsburgh in the title. Maybe that's where the confusion came from. This deal is for the Daytona.

these things are heavy! around 60 lbs.
is there a 3ton jack weighing less than 30lbs? im a mobile mechanic n it's always a hassle to lift my jacks up and down.

How does the build quality of this compare with that of the $97 Pittsburgh? It seems that in general Daytona>Pittsburgh but I'm curious if anyone has compared the jacks.

A little food for thought. You're ostensibly using this thing to lift a multi-thousand pound vehicle, and then crawling under said multi-thousand pound vehicle. Precisely how cheap do you want to be going on something like that?
