Hello All:
If you have solar panel or battery storage system in Ameren IP service area, you might be eligible for a $300/kW capacity rebate
AmerenIP pays $300 for each kW capacity if you have smart inverters to drop your "net metering" rights. They design the promotion to kick people out of "net metering". If you have "net metering" deal, you should stay in that deal and reject the rebate. If you are already in "supply only net metering", you can apply and get some cash without losing anything.
In order to be eligible, you should have "IEEE 1547-2018 Category B-III" certified micro inverter. The older micro inverters like HM-1200 are not eligible for this rebate but HMS-1000 is.
You can buy an HMS-1000 for 250 and AmerenIP pays you $300.
I do not know how the rebate aplies to hybrid or string inverters.
