I've been using one of these for 6 months, and it's not as amazing as I thought it would be. It's basically a large toaster oven rather than a true air fryer replacement. There are top and bottom heating elements that are uncovered so if you have anything that drips a liquid, there will be significant smoke. In a true air fryer, the elements are usually only at the top so you don't have to worry about dropping liquids. Also, the mesh tray only fits in the top slot, so it limits the thickness of the food in the "basket". If you have the heavy metal cooking sheet in the device, prepare to add time and/or temperature to all recipes. Also, all the Modes are unnecessary because they pretty much do the same thing. It only needs toast and oven settings. Sure, it saves space, but it's got a lot of quirks.

I have a previous version of this. I think it does a good job at bagels, toast, and it's great for pizza. But, it is impossible to clean. The bottom has a piece of aluminum that is pretty easy to place some tin foil on to help with the bottom crumbs and some drippings but those drippings get on the burners and as the previous poster said and there is some smoke. Saying that, after it cools when you tip it up anything left goes to the back of the fryer. It would be better if there was a way to open the back and wipe that off because that is impossible to clean because there is so little space to get back there. Jmo

I have a larger multi-function toaster oven and it has a tray to put at the bottom to catch the drippings. I guess with how small this thing is that's not possible?

I also have an older version of this, and it in fact does have a removable panel on the outside bottom for just this purpose!

true! but they are great for pizzas. But, yeah, not a real air fryer, works fine for some things.

pretty certain it states to never cover it with foil, it can cause the oven to overheat and burn out.

I agree. I like it as an oven. I don't use the air frying. It heat the outside too fast leaving the inside cold still. As a regular oven, it's great. Compact.

I bake bread multiple times a way. I ran out of space in my regular oven, so i threw in a tray of focaccia and it baked faster than my regular oven. (Regular oven usually 30+ minutes for focaccia at 400 degrees. In the Ninja on the bake setting, it baked in under 15 minutes. Considering getting another one. (Also, the posts about it being difficult to clean is so true. It's so much work to clean it, and it barely gets clean...but it's so good that I can deal with it).
