GE Profile - Opal 2.0 Ultra Nugget Ice Maker with Scale Inhibiting Filter - Stone White - Open Box

Excellent $201.99
Good $173.99

Free Shipping (I don't actually see it for pickup around me, but others might?).

I only marked YMMV as it's open box, and it seems like Best Buy Open Box is sometimes regional even when shipped. Edit: removing ymmv as I haven't of heard any such issues.

Best deal I've seen by far, a number of places have it in the ~$300 range right now for open box. Other colors have decent deals too, but this is by far the lowest.

Ultra version, so comes with both air filter and "scale-inhibiting" water filter.

Note, no side water container (not an issue for me, would rather the smaller footprint).

we love ours, but you absolutely need to buy an extended warranty for it. They also need weekly maintenance, like descaling and sanitizing

Yeah, I'm hoping the newer descaling filter does help some, but I know the sanitizing will still be important.

Excellent deal. But yes, they are definitely disposable.

Man, we clean ours about once a month and never used a descaling filter, but I've gone through 3 of these in 4 years. I don't know what the hell is going on with this product but it's always a different issue. My latest issue is it is stuck on add water .....

yeah, it would seem you're just throwing money away with the opals. We've had a cheaper Amazon one for almost 3 years without issue - other than being a bit loud.

Use distilled water. Will never need to be cleaned.
