Yep. Jasmine, basmati, AP flour, bread flour. I wish they stacked better - can't really open if another is on top but otherwise they're great.

Depends how similar the similar one is. Safe to say it's similar to a similar one, and dissimilar to a dissimilar one. Or something

They are absolutely waterproof, this brand I can attest to that. I would not consider this outdoor use. Guy on here used this brand's containers to carry soup in a backpack. They don't go on sale very often. Gonna scoop this for grill pellets and see if it can hang outside under a patio roof out of the sun.

FWIW I picked up a few of these from a Macy's deal a couple of years back - the seal was visibly terrible. Not at all air tight. I returned them.

I went through a period of trying to get big plastic containers, Then I chucked it, started to buy 5 gallon food grade buckets for a few bucks each, got gamma lids for some of them, and started using mason jars for the kitchen to store the things I was using right then. This worked a lot better for me for bulk foods, and was a lot cheaper.

last July i got this for 12.99 and i think it is really good for one of these plastic containers. holds a 25lb bag of rice great and would be good for all of those type of things or dog food. i think if you need something like this you will be happy at this price, and with inflation maybe this is just the new sale price.

I have pellets in one but it hides under the grill cabinet. Yeah, I wouldn't trust them in the sun and would likely be brittle in cold weather.
