Good deal on this. I always mix in extra seed with these. I feel like the volume of dirt is always much higher and it can support more seed. Makes patch fixes a breeze.

Mixes like these tend to have a lot of filler. Fertilizer is expensive but seed is even more expensive. Some of that filler is just bulk and some helps to retain moisture. The key to starting any seed is to keep it wet (but not a swamp)
