The profit margin of these batteries is razor thin. You get free shipping for the batteries as well. An 280Ah battery alone can weigh 65lb. Do you know how much it costs the seller shipping the battery back and worth? If you want customer service, pay the premium and shop elsewhere. Aliexpress is not for everyone.

how do you figure out what group number this is? to replace a 12V car battery. Or does this not work for cars?

Most likely not. There is a maximum discharge rate, which I am having a hard time finding for the battery. Basically it would create a surge when starting a car that will likely exceed the rating of most LIPO batteries. However if you were able to wire this in to run auxiliary functions and different stuff on a car, that could be an option.

They're great for trolling BUT! be careful, my Minn Kota (Johnson Outdoors) recommends not to run at 100% for too long as the power curve from LiFePO4 is so high V for so long. I haven't had an issue on my little C2 30 but "Running the motor at maximum speed with lithium batteries can result in damage. To avoid this, it's recommended to limit the motor speed to 85%, or Speed 8.5 or lower."

Car battery needs to survive tough environments, like extreme hot, cold, and elements.

Lithium batteries are not built to be tough

That's EXACTLY what I just bought this for. People are saying that you can't run at top speed for long periods of time but for my trolling motor I don't ever run at top speed for long periods of time. I do however start and stop and slow down a million times over the course of the day so I would love to know how well this thing works. I'll let you all know

Typically there is a 2 to 3 week process to get your funds back. AE provides fake shipping numbers. PP has to determine the shipping numbers are fraudulent. If you make several purchases weekly, you can forget if a AE has arrived. My guess is AE screws hundreds of people who just don't realize they never received an item.

I do have to agree with this ... i had an issue with a power supply under warranty which AE made ne send pictures and test and test and test and finally said they would return 80% of the funds if i was ok with that and i was so tired i just said yes ... and forgot to check and never got the funds ... so 4 months later i am having to bring alive a dead-horse from scratch ... thank goodness i kept all the conversation screenshots
